Co-founded a team building affordable smart walking canes for visually impaired pedestrians, combining embedded systems, haptic/audio feedback, and traffic-infrastructure integration.

Assistance at the crossing.

Connected Crosswalk Assistance explored how a smart walking cane could connect with traffic infrastructure to support visually impaired pedestrians.

Embedded sensing and useful feedback.

The project combined embedded systems with haptic and audio feedback. The physical device and its connection to traffic infrastructure were central to the work.

Conrad Challenge finalist.

CoCA placed in the global Top 5 in the Health & Nutrition category of the 2022–23 Conrad Challenge. I co-founded the project and served as Chief Research Officer from May 2022 to August 2025, leading research that informed the engineering and software work.
